Built and deployed 3 new marketplace apps and 1 new website to production. Built a calendar booking system with video conferencing integration using Daily.co, a cross-platform mobile app for interacting with video courses, a q&a product, and more. Worked closely with the product team to determine features and build mockups. ### Lead Software Engineer @ The Skills Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 | Remote I led the front-end development of the original web app for video courses. I designed and built a brand new website using Next.js and cutting-edge technologies resulting in a 100 score for page speed and a far improved user experience. Performed code reviews and trained external developers. The Skills is the only online education platform to focus exclusively on education taught by icons of professional sport. The company was designed to provide a platform for elite athletes to share their knowledge of both the fundamentals of sport and the life lessons that have helped them become successful. Led A/B testing program that resulted in 50% increase in client app downloads. Collaborated with product managers to highlight problem areas within user flows from Marketing to Product by creating user flow diagrams with supporting data. Managed multiple designers and developers to create new landing pages/content and to optimize existing pages and user flows. ### Software Engineering Manager @ Lucid Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | Greater Salt Lake City Area Manager of a team of talented and experienced developers. Held weekly 1:1s, provided coaching/feedback through code reviews, and onboarded new team members. Coordinated work with stakeholders and planned sprints with developers. Worked with designers/creative director to enforce and strengthen the brand. Performed basic UX research with heatmaps and session recordings. Led large-scale data migrations that made systems scalable. These changes were pivotal for Lucid to be able to scale from a startup of ~100 employees to 400+. Worked predominantly in JavaScript, Vue.js, SCSS, Express, Node.js, PHP, Drupal 7/8, MySQL, and other technologies. Had the idea to create "The World's Largest Diagram" and built a web app from scratch to do so. Received nearly 1M submissions in 1 month. Provided ideas for fun marketing flowcharts, made a UML video tutorial (that now has 2M+ views), and contributed to other marketing campaigns. ### Frontend Developer @ Anglepoint Inc.
