As a member of Professor Andy van Dam's graphics research group at Brown, I collaborated with a 12-member team to develop features for Brown Dash, an open-component hypermedia system for document-based knowledge, using TypeScript and the MERN stack.

I engineered two new features for Dash:
-An intelligent trip itinerary recommender, which employs a customized Ant Colony Optimization algorithm to generate personalized travel plans. The system curates points of interest, optimizes routes, and suggests transportation options based on user preferences and constraints. 
-A dynamic mapping node for the Dash web application, employing the Mapbox API for intricate features such as geolocation markers, customized routes, and immersive animations.

### Research Assistant @ Duckietown

Redesigned and optimized a Duckietown drone with a small team of engineers and computer scientists, conducting electrical tests on two different drone models using a multimeter, oscilloscope, and a soldering iron. I also contributed to rewriting a curriculum for a week-long camp in which high school students rebuilt our Duckietown drone.
