I did some research focus on side-channel analysis, which refers to a method of recovering the secret key using the side-channel information when an algorithm is running on a chip. Side-channel information can be anything such like power consumption, electromagnetic information leakage, light emission, etc, while my research focus mainly on power consumption.

And my research can be mainly divided into two parts: how to recover a key and how to prevent others to recover the key. 

In the first part, I built a DES analysis module supports method like CPA analysis, classic DPA analysis, known key analysis and etc.

In the second part, I did some research and present a counter-measure to prevent DES analysis, using a mixture of rotating masks and secured s-boxes.
