I am a Master's in CS student at Northeastern University. I came from a background of design and environmental science and discovered my passion for computer science while analyzing air monitoring data for my capstone project at HKUST. I am proficient in Java and Python and experienced in relational and non-relational databases as well as backend development.  I developed several RDBMS components including a buffer pool manager, a B+-tree based indexer and a query execution engine in C++ based on the BusTub project (https://github.com/cmu-db/bustub.git). I also have experience implementing and deploying Express-based backend services on Heroku. 

During my past work experience, I had the chance to hone my skills in team time management, coordination and conflict resolution.
