I was part of the Security & User Auth team contributing to SoundCloud’s backend and micro-services codebase in Scala for the user authentication, authorization and social sharing experience. I left the position in August 2017 in order to pursuit a PhD degree in the US. My main responsibilities at SoundCloud are as follows:

● Working on Backend implementation in Scala that enables new Remote device sign-in feature on SoundCloud's Xbox and Windows app;

● Adding new features to sign-in service codebase and contributing to architectural design of SoundCloud's sign-­in related micro-services,

● Maintaining existing sign-in related services and Investigating user authentication and authorisation related errors and implement solutions; Working with Prometheus to monitor service traffic, attending UpTime training for on call duties;

● Working with Production engineering team to develop onboarding materials on deployment processes at SoundCloud, using Docker and Kubernetes;

● Improving existing sign-­in flow, refactoring existing codebase;

● Writing RESTful APIs, working on Backend for Frontend micro-­service integration.
