I am a passionate software and system engineer, and a responsive and hands-on technical lead, who has 10 years industry experience in large scale distributed infrastructure system design and development, including authorization service, cluster management and compute platform, distributed storage system, data steaming pipeline frameworks, network protocols and IO device driver optimization, and system performance profiling. Prior to work, my PhD research focuses on using theoretical method including probability, stochastic process, statistical estimation, convex optimization and competitive analysis to solve problems in wireless communication and wireless/wired networks. I am a fast learner, self-motivated and interested in exploring new domains and technologies. I am able to move fast, combine theory and practice, and have stability, efficiency and security in mind.

1. Founding member and tech lead of AuthZ who bootstrap a novel PBAC based authorization platform (similar to AWS IAM). Heavily involved in model and system design, hands-on implementation, debugging and fire fighting, and customer requirement collection and fulfillment
2. Our less-than-five initial engineer team took over two legacy authorization services (RBAC + ACL), maintain and migrate them in addition to building and refining our new service. The team now grows to more-than-fifteen engineer team, finished migrating the largest legacy one with 2000+ applications inside the company, and our service holds billions of permission data, and serving one of the most complex security, data governance and compliance use cases in the world
