I am a software engineer at Flex. I graduated with my Master's degree in computer science at Columbia University. Before, I was at Tsinghua University majoring in Automation (Computer Engineering). I have work and research experience in back end, full stack, and machine learning.

As a research intern at UCLA, I cooperated with Prof.Jae Hoon Sul and Ph.D. student Albert Lee to build an atopic dermatitis classifier based on genomics data.

Key Achievements :
- Extracted transcriptome data from raw data with 40000+ genes, labeled data based on severity of AD, and selected primary ones using feature selection method, integrated by RFE, chi-squared test and other tools
- Built a self-adaptable model to classify if a person has a higher risk of having atopic dermatitis by ML models such as XGBoost, logistic regression, and support vector machine.F1 score of test sets reached 0.98

I worked as a research intern in Jianyang Zeng's Lab at Tsinghua University.During this period, I focused on machine learning and computational biology.I predicted drug side effects from heterogeneous network data using compact feature learning.And I also took part in a COVID-19 therapeutic agent project.

I was a TA in a computational biology project about genome-wide association studies (GWAS) of complex traits. The instructor of this course was Prof.Xuanyao Liu at UChicago.
Key Achievements:
- Assisted students download and debug 50GB+ data, as well as install and run software
- Answered questions after class, and offered suggestions regarding project research directions
- Analyzed gene-related complex traits by GWAS and TWAS, and gave new insights of understanding genetic risks
