My active learning project was accepted to appear at the poster session at WeCNLP 2018! ### Researcher @ Brown University Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | Providence, Rhode Island Researched self-driving car planning in the Brown Robotics Lab under Michael Littman. Used deep RL, game theory, and computer vision to learn to follow lanes, as well as navigating a two-lane road where one lane is blocked with another driving oncoming. ### Teaching Assistant @ Brown University Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Providence, Rhode Island I was a TA for the algorithms course at Brown (CSCI 1570). ### Deep Learning Intern @ Yelp Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | San Francisco, California I improved the way Yelp orders photos for restaurants to show users only the most relevant and mouth-watering photos for restaurants. I trained and incorporated a convolutional neural net to find photos of people, to filter those out of top photos for restaurants as well as out of advertisements. ### Coordinator @ Brown University Learning Exchange Jan 2015 – Jan 2017 I led lectures on programming and math concepts at a Providence middle school for two semesters.
