My professional journey began in the late 90's where I hand-coded HTML and designed web pages and video games. From there, I ventured into the world of print design, then professional photography and Image post-production. Each charity is directed toward a specific subject. In order to organize the Information Architecture of the website, my task was to learn how users group these charity subjects so they could easily find their desired charity through the website navigation. Below are the steps I took in order to validate the charity groupings: • Revealed valuable information through Competitive/Comparative Analysis and learned the tactics competitors use at their websites • Created effective, user-centric prototypes and tested them with users • Effectively screened users before testing in order to achieve best results • Performed Open Card Sort in order to learn how users group and name charity subjects • Synthesized the findings of the Open Card Sort, then performed Closed Card Sort in order to effectively validate users preferences • Presented findings to stakeholders and developers through an easy-to-understand presentation in order for them to easily implement the findings • Developed a "Clarity" system so it will be easy to understand the fondness of groupings by the users ### UX Design & Research Consultant @ We Make Change_ Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Remote My mission was to discover which navigation style is the most favorite by users so it could be implemented on the website.
