Team: Computer Vision Platform
I am currently on a computer vision platform team where I enable CV engineers by building out a CV Platform
Accomplishments
• Implemented an API to retrieve and store CV Detection Data for usage in our core app
• Mentored an intern and worked with her to build out a FullStack Web Application/Internal Tool
• Built out CI/CD Pipelines for our CV Tools and Models
• Built out an internal CLI tool to manage our internal dev tools
Team: Ads
On the Ads team I worked as a hybrid infrastructure/backend software engineer. My main focus was enabling our API team by building out client libraries and integrating core AWS technologies into our application
Accomplishments
• Created new features to enable Ads Targeting in our application
• Writing a Script to help start an Automated Live Stream
• Wrote Terraform modules to help teams create their own Elasticache-serverless clusters and setup DynamoDB tables
• Created Datadog monitors and Dashboards to monitor the health of our Ads system

Team: Ad Infrastructure
• Migrated our existing helm charts to utilize KEDA for autoscaling events in place of the AWS Cloudwatch Metrics Adapter
• Developed and architected a custom autoscaling even scheduling tool. I wrote out the initial API and partially worked on the UI
Ran experiments to find ways to reduce infrastructure costs in running our ads. This included comparing micro services utilizing SpringBoot and comparing them with the same logic written in Golang
• Lead the deployment efforts of our Ads Infrastructure to expand to multiple AWS regions. I helped implemented our Spinnaker templates to support more than two regions
• Enabled custom features for building out a tool with supported deployment of custom kubernetes pods into environments which were spun up dynamically
• Participated in a 24/7 rotation where I handled production issues when ads were not being served, or we had other issues
• Participated in a developer support rotation where I helped other engineers debug, fix and find any potential issues which rose from their application on our Infrastructure
• Coordinated with other Cloud Engineering teams on debugging, fixing and expanding the ads infrastructure capabilities to support the needs of the different Ads Engineering teams

• Drove initiatives to improve our on-call rotation by making adjustments and reviewing our schedules, identifying and removing noisy alerts, and improved alert thresholds to better indicate issues and reduce false positives
• Utilized our custom deployment tool and wrote an integration with the JIRA API to pull data and perform releases
• Participated in a 24x7 on-call rotation where I helped debug, fix and triage issues which arose with our application on the Risk Infrastructure
• Integrated the Prometheus library in our java based micro services to export JVM metrics to Grafana. This allowed me to work with different engineering teams to identify key JVM metrics and display their information for better debugging and tracing
• Customized and Added new features to a custom data query tool which executed queries on GCP's BigQuery offering

• Created Alerts via Sensu for our microservices to ensure uptime and payments were processing securely. This included detecting Card testing attacks and other harmful activities.
• Worked on a full-stack tool to help execute jobs which would fix data stored in Google BigQuery related to card payments
• Utilized Terraform to set up an infrastructure for Data science teams on Google Cloud
• Participated in a 24x7 on-call rotation
